Ever imagined yourself at 15,000ft in the summer of 1940, over the south coast of England, looking for imaginary bandits? Or flying formation with a squadron of Spitfires on a foray into enemy territory, escorting bombers perhaps? Or dogfighting with a Focke-Wulf 190 who's trying hard to shoot you down? If you have, then you're not alone! And if you're like most of us who can't afford the real thing, then you might just be interested in the next best thing - a replica of a Spitfire!
This site was created to let the prospective replica builder know just what's available out there for he/she to build or fly. Not all of us can afford a real Spitfire, but if we try we can build our own, and keep a legend going!
